I’m really impressed with your posts on wildlife. I’m a big animal lover with two dogs and a cat who are totally spoiled.
It’s been a long time since we went to the Fort Worth Nature Center, and your posts make me ready to go back again.

Thanks Dr. Grotta. I have an animal fact about monarch butterflies. Did you see it? My mom told me your whole backyard is full of flowers. Do you get many monarchs in it?

Great pictures, Joe. Looks like everyone had a great time. I hope the event raised some funds to feed the animals, and I hope a lot of people said “Joe sent me.”
It’s interesting that you mention to Dr. Grotta about the monarch butterflies. I commented the other day to your Uncle Paul that it seems like I’ve seen fewer butterflies this season. I wonder if the BP oil spill is still affecting our Northwest Florida gulf coast area.
